During the lockdown, the SOS Tissu charity set up shop at the gallery.
During the two months of confinement, the Au Roi gallery hosted the SOS Tissu association, which collected and sorted fabrics donated by companies and individuals, before redistributing them to volunteer seamstresses. The seamstresses sewed hundreds of overcoats and gowns, which were distributed to hospitals in the 93 and Ile-de-France regions.
It was a wonderful initiative that enabled us to meet some wonderful, committed people. Well done to the volunteers!
