Brutal 3, an exhibition by the ECAL Bachelor of Photography at the Au Roi gallery on the occasion of Paris Photo.
To celebrate the Paris Photo 2019, ECAL’s Bachelor of Photography students present their new project, produced under the artistic direction of Nicolas Poillot. For a semester, they translated the music of producer IKAZ BOI into images. The visuals, sometimes smooth and polished, sometimes dark and rough, were produced while listening to the new project BRUTAL 3 : an intimate album oscillating between romance and darkness, made up entirely of instrumental tracks. An exclusive 500 numbered vinyl copies have been specially created for the occasion.
For two days, the ECAL is taking over the galerie Au Roi, inviting spectators on a journey of sound and vision, in an ephemeral sensory space generated by a synchronous video installation.
